Built in the 1930’s with art décor features, this 3 storey house has been in the owners’ family for almost 70 years. The house has undergone an extensive restoration culminating in more open, through spaces on the ground floor, a master bedroom suite with his and hers bathrooms on the 1st floor, as well as his and hers studies on the 2nd floor. The design introduces vertical natural light down the original art décor stairs using a large modern roof light and ensuring the flow of the ground floor links the kitchen to the rear garden for alfresco dining. The interior design has been a collaboration with Janie Money of Sybil Colefax and John Fowler.
